Applecroft House, Killarney, Co. Kerry

Applecroft House is situated in colourful landscaped gardens with a farm to the back, nestled away from the main road, at the top of a laneway so guests can enjoy countryside peace and tranquillity while still, only a leisurely 15-minute walk into Killarney town centre. Applecroft House offers a warm, friendly atmosphere, delicious fresh breakfast and large, comfortable bedrooms. Each bedroom possesses it’s very own theme including ‘Poet’s Corner’, ‘Past Times’, ‘The 19th Green’, ‘The Race-goer’s Club’ and ‘The Kerry Way’. All rooms are en-suite with TV and wireless internet.



Breakfast is served in a bright and airy dining room overlooking the garden, while the guest sitting room is the perfect place to relax, read or chat with a hot cup of tea/coffee.



Applecroft House is a family business run by Kathy and Don Brosnan and their 3 daughters. They enjoy meeting people from all over the country and the world, creating a home away from home for their guests. The blossoming garden frames the house and they grow a wide variety of plants and flowers, attracting plenty of bird-life. They are especially proud of their happy free-range hens who provide the best eggs for cooking and baking. The dogs and cat keep an eye on the hens while the horses are happy to just roam around the fields for the day. Families, couples, singles, friends, grey nomads are all welcome!
